The story

The Ortaj coop was founded in 1987 as a cooperative producers of citrus fruits and table grapes in the western territory of Taranto.

In December of 2003 adheres to regulate PGI

The Cooperative is made up from 80 companies of small and medium sizes, ranging from 1 to about 20 hectares.
The total surface is equal to it 230.00.00, as distributed by type of crop:

• ha 150.00.00 Clementines
• ha  40.00.00 Oranges
• ha  40.00.00 Table grapes
